Registrar's Office

Faculty must have Ursa access to enter grades online. If you do not have access to Ursa go to www.unco.edu/aboutursa/resouces.html , print out a Student Module Access Request Form. Complete the form, obtain the appropriate signatures and fax to the Registrar's Office at 970-351-1870.

Online grading is available at the mid-point of each session and available for full term courses 5 days prior to the last day of the class.

Instructions for assigning grades through Ursa and Banner Self-Service.
1. Login to Ursa.
2. Select the "Faculty Tab".
3. Under the “Faculty Grade Assignment” channel
4. Select either Final or Midterm grades at the bottom of the channel.
5. Select the course to be graded using the green or yellow triangle to the right of the course.

Green Triangle = grade submission not yet started
Yellow = Missing grades still out for this course.
Red circle = No enrollment in the course
Green check mark = Grades submitted for all students and rolled to academic history
6. Use the drop box to select a grade for each student, and last date of attendance when assigning grades of F or UW.
7. Use the submit button at the bottom left of the page to record grades for the term.
8. You will see the following message when grades are submitted successfully:
"The changes you made were saved successfully." If you have entered a last attendance date you will see the following message: "The student had not withdrawn from class."  This is information only and the grades were submitted successfully.  The saved successfully message is not displaying at this time when attendance dates are included.
